Summary. SoloTrack stores your flight log on your device. Daily logging does not require a SoloTrack account. If you turn on iCloud sync, your flights and templates are synced through Apple's CloudKit using your own Apple ID. SoloTrack uses RevenueCat to process and validate Apple-managed subscriptions and in-app purchases. SoloTrack does not use advertising or tracking SDKs.
1. Who we are
SoloTrack is an iOS flight logbook for student pilots, published by Huggler Holdings LLC ("SoloTrack", "we", "us", or "our"), a Texas limited liability company. The data controller for purposes of this policy is Huggler Holdings LLC. You can reach us by email at Contact@solo-track.com.
2. Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy applies to:
- The SoloTrack iOS application distributed through the Apple App Store (the "App").
- The SoloTrack website at
solo-track.com(the "Site").
It does not apply to third-party services that you choose to interact with — for example, Apple's iCloud, the App Store, or RevenueCat — which are governed by their own privacy policies.
3. What data SoloTrack stores
SoloTrack stores the data you enter into your logbook on your device, including:
- Flight records (date, route, Hobbs/Tach times, landings, training categories, advanced training fields, remarks).
- Saved flight templates.
- CFI endorsement information you choose to capture, such as the CFI number, signature image, and signature date.
- App preferences, onboarding state, custom airports, notification memory, and timer state.
This data lives in a local SwiftData store inside an iOS App Group container on your device. App preferences and shared widget state are stored in a shared UserDefaults domain on the same device.
Website beta applications. If you voluntarily submit through the beta application form on this Site, the submission is processed by our managed form submission provider and delivered to Contact@solo-track.com. We collect the contact and training-readiness information you provide, such as your name, email address, role, training stage, total flight hours, iOS device, current logbook method, next expected flight, CFI status, import needs, and feedback focus. We use that information only to evaluate beta access, contact you about SoloTrack, and coordinate beta feedback. We do not operate our own beta form collection backend, and this information is not sold, shared for cross-context behavioral advertising, or used for tracking.
3.1 Data categories at a glance
The table below mirrors Apple's App Privacy disclosure categories so you can see, at a glance, exactly what is collected and how it is handled.
| Apple data category | Collected by SoloTrack? | Linked to your identity? | Used for tracking? |

4. What data SoloTrack does not collect
Based on the current build, SoloTrack does not:
- Require an account, sign-in, email address, or phone number to use.
- Send your flight log to a SoloTrack-operated backend.
- Use third-party advertising, tracking, A/B testing, or crash-reporting SDKs.
- Use the App Tracking Transparency framework — there is no tracking to authorize.
- Sell, rent, or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Use your data for cross-app or cross-site tracking.
- Access your camera, microphone, contacts, photos library, calendar, reminders, or HealthKit data.
- Collect precise or coarse location, IP address, or device identifiers for tracking.
5. Optional iCloud sync (CloudKit)
SoloTrack offers an optional iCloud sync mode that uses Apple's CloudKit. When you turn iCloud sync on:
- Your flights and templates are synced between your own Apple devices via your iCloud account.
- Sync is handled by Apple. Huggler Holdings LLC does not operate a server and does not have access to your iCloud data.
- Onboarding state, notification memory, custom airports, and timer state stay local to each device and do not sync.
- iCloud data is encrypted in transit and at rest under Apple's CloudKit security model.
You can turn iCloud sync off at any time in the app's settings. You can also revoke iCloud access for SoloTrack in your device's iCloud settings under Settings > [your name] > iCloud > Apps Using iCloud > SoloTrack.
For information on how Apple handles iCloud data, see the Apple Privacy Policy.
6. Subscriptions and RevenueCat
SoloTrack Pro subscriptions and in-app purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account. SoloTrack uses RevenueCat to display subscription products, validate purchases, determine subscription entitlement status, process restores, and support subscription troubleshooting. SoloTrack does not collect or store your payment card details.
RevenueCat may process purchase history, subscription status, Apple receipt information, and an anonymous RevenueCat app user ID. These are used for app functionality, subscription management, purchase validation, restore purchases, customer support, and aggregate subscription analytics. They are not used for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking. SoloTrack does not use custom RevenueCat app user IDs, IDFA, or App Tracking Transparency in the current v1.0 build.
7. How we use the data
Data you enter into SoloTrack is used solely to provide the app's features:
- Computing your hours toward FAR 61.109 requirements.
- Computing FAR 61.57 day/night/instrument currency and FAR 61.56 flight-review windows.
- Powering the Live Activity timer, widgets, App Shortcuts, and notifications on your device.
- Importing and exporting CSV/PDF logbooks at your request.
- Confirming SoloTrack Pro subscription entitlement and restoring purchases.
For users in the EU, UK, or Switzerland, our legal bases for processing are performance of a contract (delivering the App's features and subscription access you requested) and legitimate interests (maintaining App security, purchase integrity, and support). We do not process personal data for third-party advertising.
8. Third-party services
SoloTrack uses Apple frameworks and RevenueCat. Specifically:
- SwiftData for local persistence.
- CloudKit for optional iCloud sync (only if you enable it).
- WidgetKit, ActivityKit, App Intents, PencilKit, MapKit, UserNotifications for in-app features.
- StoreKit and the Apple App Store for subscription billing, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and purchase management.
- RevenueCat for subscription product display, purchase validation, entitlement status, restore purchases, and subscription analytics.
Standard Apple App Store and iOS-level diagnostics may apply if you opt in at the device level. SoloTrack does not receive identifying information from those Apple-level systems. We do not embed Google, Meta, X, TikTok, Mixpanel, Amplitude, Firebase, Sentry, Superwall, or advertising SDKs.
9. Apple App Privacy ("Privacy Nutrition Label") summary
For the current SoloTrack build, the Apple App Privacy disclosure in App Store Connect is summarized as:
- Data Used to Track You: None.
- Data Linked to You: None for the current v1.0 build.
- Data Not Linked to You: Purchases > Purchase History for RevenueCat purchase/subscription processing, app functionality, restore purchases, and subscription analytics.
If you enable iCloud sync, the only data category in scope is User Content — specifically, flight log entries, flight templates, and any CFI signature/endorsement data you store. This information is delivered by Apple's CloudKit to your other Apple devices signed into the same Apple ID; SoloTrack does not have access to it.
10. Children's privacy
SoloTrack is intended for student pilots and active pilots and is not directed at children under 13. The App is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. We do not target advertising or marketing to children — and there is no advertising in SoloTrack at all. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at Contact@solo-track.com and we will work with you to remove that data. This section is consistent with Apple App Store Review Guideline 5.1.4 (Kids).
11. International users
SoloTrack is offered globally through the Apple App Store. Flight log data is stored on your device and, if you enable iCloud sync, in your own iCloud account. Purchase and subscription data processed by Apple and RevenueCat may be transferred and processed in the United States and other countries where those providers operate. Apple's and RevenueCat's handling is governed by their privacy practices and data-processing infrastructure.
12. California privacy rights (CCPA / CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act ("CCPA/CPRA"), gives you specific rights regarding your personal information. The disclosures in this section are made in addition to, and do not replace, the rest of this Privacy Policy.
11.1 Categories of personal information
- Identifiers: Name and email address only if you voluntarily submit a beta application or contact support.
- Commercial information: Purchase history and subscription status processed by Apple and RevenueCat for SoloTrack Pro subscriptions.
- Internet or other electronic network activity information: None collected for advertising or tracking. RevenueCat subscription analytics are limited to purchase and entitlement events.
- Geolocation: None collected.
- Sensory data: None collected.
- Professional or employment-related information: Optional pilot-training data you enter in the App is stored on your device. Beta application training-stage details are collected only if you submit the website beta form.
- Inferences: On-device computations of FAR 61.109 progress and FAR 61.57/61.56 currency status. Not transmitted off-device.
11.2 Sale or sharing of personal information
SoloTrack does not sell your personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We have not done so in the preceding 12 months and do not plan to in the future.
11.3 Your California rights
- Right to know what personal information we have collected.
- Right to delete personal information we have about you.
- Right to correct inaccurate personal information.
- Right to opt out of sale or sharing (already the default — we do neither).
- Right to limit use of sensitive personal information (we do not use any).
- Right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, email Contact@solo-track.com from the email associated with your request and describe the right you wish to exercise. If you have not submitted a beta application or contacted support, most "right to know" requests will be satisfied by confirming that we hold no off-device data about you.
13. EU, UK, and Swiss privacy rights (GDPR / UK GDPR / FADP)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 ("GDPR"), the UK GDPR, and the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection ("FADP"):
- Right of access to personal data we process about you.
- Right to rectification of inaccurate personal data.
- Right to erasure ("right to be forgotten").
- Right to restriction of processing.
- Right to data portability in a commonly used, machine-readable format. SoloTrack supports this directly via in-app CSV export.
- Right to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Right to withdraw consent at any time (where processing is based on consent).
- Right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
The data controller is Huggler Holdings LLC (Texas, USA). Email Contact@solo-track.com to exercise any of these rights. We will respond within the time frames required by applicable law (generally one month).
International data transfers. If you enable iCloud sync, Apple Inc. may transfer your CloudKit data internationally as a data processor. Subscription and purchase data may also be processed internationally by Apple and RevenueCat. Apple and RevenueCat publish their own transfer mechanisms and Standard Contractual Clauses where applicable.
14. Your choices and rights
- Access & portability: You can export your full flight log to CSV (22-column, machine-readable) or to a printable PDF at any time from inside the App.
- Deletion: Because your data lives on-device, you can delete individual flights, reset your entire log, or remove the App to delete all local data. If you used iCloud sync, you can also remove SoloTrack data from iCloud through your device's iCloud settings.
- Endorsed flights: Endorsed flight records are locked to preserve their integrity for examiners. You can void an endorsement to make a record editable again; the prior data remains legible until you change it.
- Notifications: Disable notifications system-wide for SoloTrack in Settings > Notifications > SoloTrack.
- Subscriptions: Manage or cancel SoloTrack Pro in Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Privacy questions or requests: Email Contact@solo-track.com.
15. Data retention
SoloTrack retains your flight log data until you delete it or remove the App. We do not have a SoloTrack-operated flight-log database where copies of your logbook accumulate. If you used iCloud sync and later turn it off or delete the App, removal of CloudKit-synced data follows Apple's iCloud deletion behavior, which can include a short transitional period during which Apple replicates the deletion across data centers. RevenueCat and Apple retain purchase and subscription records as needed for billing, entitlement history, refunds, fraud prevention, tax/accounting obligations, support, and legal compliance.
16. Security
Data on your device is protected by iOS file-level encryption tied to your device passcode. iCloud sync, if you enable it, relies on Apple's CloudKit security (encrypted in transit and at rest) and your iCloud account protections, including two-factor authentication. Purchase and subscription processing relies on Apple StoreKit and RevenueCat security controls. No system can be 100% secure, and you remain responsible for protecting access to your device, your passcode, and your Apple ID.
17. Tracking and "Do Not Track"
SoloTrack does not engage in cross-site or cross-app tracking and does not implement the App Tracking Transparency permission. RevenueCat subscription processing is not used to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies. Because we do not perform tracking, "Do Not Track" browser signals and Global Privacy Control signals do not change SoloTrack's behavior — there is no tracking to disable.
18. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above. For App Store-distributed updates, the in-app or Privacy Nutrition Label disclosures will be revised in parallel. We will not retroactively reduce your rights without giving you notice. Continued use of the App or Site after a change is posted means you accept the updated policy.
19. Contact
Questions about this policy, or want to exercise a privacy right? Email Contact@solo-track.com. We aim to respond within 5 business days, and within the time frames required by applicable law for formal data-subject requests.
